Cheese Ball

Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 TBS butter, softened
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 - 1 1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce depending on taste
1 tsp lemon juice
2 to 3 oz shredded old sharp white Cheddar cheese, depending on how much sharp flavor you want
1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the parsley and nuts in a bowl.
2. Combine the parsley and nuts on a plate (Be sure the parsley is dried with a paper towel after you wash it). Set aside.
3. Form cheese mixture into a ball or log with your hands, then roll it in the nut mixture. Its ok if it isnt a perfect ball you can fix it later.
4. Wrap ball in saran wrap then adjust shape of ball if necessary. Put in the fridge to firm and set (overnight is best as flavors develop). Serve with assorted crackers.
Variations: Add chopped pepperoni; roll in diced red pepper with the parsley for red and green holiday colors; This makes 1 large ball or log - you can make 2 smaller balls if you wish.
