2 cups good quality yoghurt (NOT non-fat)
4-6 small pickling cucumbers, peeled and diced or grated
1 tsp fresh mint, chopped or 1/4 tsp dried (optional)
2 TBS white onion, grated (optional)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1. Mix all ingredients and serve chilled. In Iran some people add currants, fresh spinach, or dill weed to this as well. I most enjoy it plain, even without onion.
