Szechuan Braised String Beans

1 TBS peanut oil
1 TBS sesame oil (if you don't have these oils, use any vegetable oil)
2 TBS grated gingerroot
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 pound string beans, ends trimmed
1/4 - 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (depending how hot and spicy you can take)
4 TBS soy sauce

1. Heat a wok or deep frying pan on high heat. Add the oil and get it very hot (about 2 minutes).
2. Add ginger and garlic and fry on the high heat 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly
3. Add the beans and red pepper flakes, fry until the skin of the beans bubbles, about 3-5 minutes. You want to keep them crunchy so don't overcook
4. Add the soy sauce and continue to fry for 30 seconds - one minute. Serve immediately.
