Suzy's Wild Brown Rice

olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed 2 cups brown rice, rinsed
1/2 cup wild rice, rinsed
1-2 TBS Better than Bullion Chicken Flavor and 3 cups water or 3 cups low sodium chicken broth
1/2 cup sliced spinach
spices of your choice to taste; I use salt, pepper, cayenne, poultry seasoning

1. Heat a bit of olive oil in a deep frying pan. Add onion and garlic and sautee on medium high heat.
2. Add the brown and wild rice and sautee for a few minutes; add the Bullion and water or chicken broth. Add your spices but do not add the salt until the end as there is plenty in the broth.
3. Cover pan and cook on low until water is absorbed. If rice is not tender when water is absorbed, add 1/2 cup more at a time until the rice is done
4. Add the fresh sliced spinach at the end and cook for 5 minutes uncovered. Serve.
